For Saul of Tarsus, there was one way to God. Serving.
None served harder and more zealously than Saul did. On the face of it, Saul was the model saint.
That was until a new way came on the scene. A way so radically different and counter-intuitive that God had to take Saul out of circulation for three years upon his conversion.
Why?
God’s new apostle had to learn, not how to serve God, but how to be served by Him.
Enter the person and finished work of JESUS. The new and living way. The way of grace, not works.

Nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, because it is He who gives to all [people] life and breath and all things. – Acts 17:24-25 (AMP)
