Sin lifted. Righteousness loaded.

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.

March 1, 2018

The implications of the cross are immense and irreversible.

Beginning with a brand new identity – one defined by the person and finished work of Jesus.

Last week we explored the great exchange that brought this new reality into being…

Our sin was exchanged for Jesus’ righteousness. Our curse was exchanged for Jesus’ blessing. Our poverty was exchanged for Jesus’ riches. Our guilt was exchanged for Jesus’ innocence. Our fear was exchanged for Jesus’ love. Our anxiety was exchanged for Jesus’ peace. Our death was exchanged for Jesus’ life.

The list is by no means exhausted.

Bottom line – we possess God’s best with nothing held back. Thank you Jesus!

And so then, with a new identity comes a new knowledge. In this message, we go deeper into what the cross has accomplished.

We pray it blesses you.

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified. Heb. 10:14 (HCSB)
